Movie Review: The Big Wedding

Yes, we love the drama, the sadness or the comedy of a movie.  And though we know that the people in the movie are acting, we still can put ourself in it. Imagine a life without movies, well I can't imagine it! There are so many movies nowadays and they also make a lot of new movies, but we don't always liked them all. And that's why I'm writing a movie review! Yesterday I saw the movie The Big Wedding. Are you interested in the movie or do you want to know what I think about it? Check it out!

I was very excited to watch this movie. I really like movies with a lot of celebrities in it. Sometimes these movies aren't that good. The movie got at a rating on imdb.com a  5.2 , but I didn't care. Another reason why I wanted to see this movie was, when I saw the poster of the movie. I got my eye on this guy (picture down below). Well he isn't ugly, that is all I gonna say ;)

Maybe you know the feeling that you just want to see a funny, simple movie, well I got that feeling.  And afterwards it really was that sort of movie. It is a really simple story namely,  Alejandro ( played by Ben Barnes) and Missy (played by Amanda Seyfried) are getting married.  Around that, there are just a few problems in the family. For some people it probably bothered that it's a really simple story, and it bothered me too in the beginning of the movie.  Afterwards, it didn't bother me anymore, because the movie was funny. I need to say that the movie isn't super hilarious. I laughed more at other movies, but I laughed a couple of times and that is the most important thing of a comedy.

If you are a person who looks critical at movies, I think you probably say that this movie is bad. That is maybe one of the reason that they got a 5.2 on imdb.

But I'm a person who don't look critical at movies. If the movie is fun or makes me cry, than I like it. And it really was fun. And I'm not the only who laughed, no, the whole cinema laughed, so that says also something about the movie (or it's just because it was ladies night and the whole cinema was filled with ladies. You may decide haha). In my opinion, this is more a movie for woman. 

I can conclude that this movie is a funny one. It is a simple story. It's not a hilarious movie but the movie made me laugh several times. If you hate simple movies, well don't waste your money on this movie. If you love simple movies, well go to your cinema and go watch it!!
