It’s maybe hard to say if someone has it or not, and I won’t say that I have it. The only thing I do know is that I love to travel. I think it’s one of the most incredible things in the world. Why you might think, because it leads you to all those amazing places. New places, new cultures, new people almost a different world although we’re still at the same planet. 

People who know me a little better know that I love to see new things. And even though I’m quite shy (believe me I hear it all the time) I’m definitely not to shy to travel. I would like to experience different cultures. Since the age of eight I want to go to New York, but who wouldn’t. I like the history behind New York. I think it’s amazing that a city that is now so big used to be in the hands of Holland. The small country I live in. So I’m saving my money so I can make the trip I'm dreaming of going since a long time, but it’s also a damn expensive dream. Only for the flight is around a thousand Euros and no I don’t have that money, and I think that’s good. I have to work for something and actually that doesn’t bother me. But I want to see even more than New York. I want to Norway and that’s a bit closer to home, and Australia, Sweden, Great Britain (even though I’ve been there before). I just want to see the world, before we destroy it with all the gasses and weapons.

            I know I’m definitely not the only one who wants the travel; it would be I pretty odd if I were the only one. But an other thing that I love is to read about people that love the too travel, or sometimes a better word is to wander. A few months ago I read “Into the wild” which I think was I pretty good book. And now I’m starting to read “On the road”, and I have to say so far so good. My grandfather told me quite a lot about the beat generation. I think that I can rely with some of the thoughts people had in that time. Although I will never know how it was back then, it’s the thought of a pretty free generation that I think is amazing.

            So I think I can say that also I have wanderlust, maybe not as strong as other people. But I think everybody has a little wanderlust because there is so much to see. So much we still want to discover. 

 I am really curious of ,what you guys still want to discover? And if you now any good travel related books?
